Even though the Red Sox have only played six games, chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom is starting to think about how he’ll approach this year’s trade deadline. That’s because in a shortened 60-game season, the deadline is a month from Friday. While it’s too early to tell just how the 2-4 Red Sox will approach the deadline, it’s clear Bloom will take a creative approach into trading before the Aug. 31 deadline.
