Boston Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez was cleared by the team for physical activity after battling a heart condition caused by COVID-19 that kept him out for all of 2020. Red Sox manager Ron Roenicke told reporters Friday the left-handed starting pitcher will be able to do light physical activity while building up to a return in 2021. He was diagnosed in July with a heart condition called myocarditis, which is considered inflammation of the heart, after a bout with the coronavirus.
