Cora was socially distanced from Boston president and CEO Sam Kennedy, chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom and general manager Brian O’Halloran while taking questions virtually. It was far from normal. Nothing has been in 2020, and Red Sox fans had a head start in the sports world two months before the COVID-19 pandemic claimed our attention in a far more serious and all-consuming manner.
