Chris Bassitt dominated the best offense in baseball, Matt Olson was an offensive kingpin and the A’s beat the Red Sox 3-2 Tuesday night in a splendidly played game at Fenway Park. Bassitt, making his Fenway debut and facing the Red Sox for the first time, pitched seven solid innings, and the only men who scored on his watch were his second batter and second-to-last batter. In between, Bassitt was masterful.
