Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy is “resting comfortably” at a Boston hospital after leaving the team’s NESN broadcast on Friday night after “experiencing shortness of breath. Remy, a cancer survivor, was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital, NESN said in a statement on Saturday. Last night, during the third inning of the Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays, NESN broadcaster Jerry Remy experienced shortness of breath and stepped away from the broadcast as a precaution,” the statement said.
