Dec. 10: Selected RHP Garrett Whitlock from the Yankees in the Rule 5 draft. Whitlock has been excellent all season, and a one-man rescue team for the recently flammable bullpen, putting up a 1.60 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 62 innings.
