The Rays are looking to bounce back from Wednesday’s frustrating loss to the Red Sox and feel like they have the right man on the mound in Shane McClanahan. The rookie left-hander from USF has emerged as their top starter and goes into Thursday’s game on an impressive roll, going 5-0, 2.76 in five August starts. The first of those also was at Tropicana Field against the Red Sox, when he allowed one run over six innings in the Aug. 1 Sunday Night Baseball game.
