Red Sox part ways with Tom Goodwin, retain rest of coaching staff

After being eliminated from the postseason last Friday in Game Six of the ALCS by the Houston Astros, the Boston Red Sox held their end-of-year press conference featuring Chaim Bloom, Alex Cora, and Sam Kennedy on Monday. For the most part, the conversation has stuck to what you would normally expect, featuring mostly positive words about players who should be central figures of the offseason. The one newsworthy nugget from the presser was with the coaching staff.
