The Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday placed former No. 1 overall draft pick Henry Davis on the 10-day injured list with a strained right hand, and recalled infielder Vinny Capra from Triple-A Indianapolis before opening a series vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.
