Guardians place SP Carrasco on IL, promote Curry

Cleveland Guardians placed Tuesday's previously scheduled starter, Carlos Carrasco, a 37-year-old right-hander, on the injured list because of an acute neck spasm, and recalled Xzavion Curry from Triple-A Columbus to step in against the New York Mets.
