Mets' Blackburn (back) to skip Blue Jays series

New York right-hander Paul Blackburn, expected to come off the 15-day injured list this week as the Mets battle for a postseason berth, will not pitch in a series against the Toronto Blue Jays because of a sore lower back, manager Carlos Mendoza said.
