Manfred suspended the Red Sox’s video replay coordinator J.T. Watkins for 2020 and won’t allow him to resume the same role in the organization in 2021. Boston was also docked a second-round pick. The 2020 suspension of then-manager Alex Cora was also announced, but he was banned for his role in Houston’s 2017 illegal sign-stealing scheme.
