Before what could be Jackie Bradley Jr.'s final home game as a member of the Red Sox on Thursday night, manager Ron Roenicke took a moment to appreciate what Bradley Jr. has meant to his club over the last few years. Roenicke has spent three seasons with Bradley Jr., first as Boston’s bench coach in 2018 and 2019 before being promoted to manager for 2020. In that span, Roenicke has enjoyed getting to know Bradley Jr. -- who will be a free agent at season’s end -- both as a player and as a person.
