The Red Sox “like” free-agent infielder Marcus Semien and may consider signing him to play second base, according to Peter Gammons of The Athletic. Gammons notes that Boston doesn’t yet know the amount of money it would require to sign the former Athletic. Semien, 30, has spent the last six years with Oakland, playing shortstop in all 773 games with the Athletics.
