Drew Smyly allowed no earned runs and struck out four in 4 2/3 innings as the Atlanta Braves beat the Boston Red Sox 5-3 in seven innings on Tuesday at Fort Myers, Fla. Smyly surrendered two unearned runs on six hits. Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies had two hits, including a three-run home run off Red Sox starter Martin Perez, and Mike Soroka threw the final two innings for the save.
