The Boston Red Sox had interest in Corey Kluber, but the two-time AL Cy Young winner chose to sign with the New York Yankees instead. Kluber and the Yankees reached a one-year, $11-million deal last week. The Boston Globe’s Alex Speier reported the Red Sox “were ready to move on” Kluber and believed the deal he received from the Yankees “was a reasonable one.
