One week before Opening Day, Red Sox president and CEO Sam Kennedy put a certain conspiracy theory to bed. Appearing on WEEI’s The Greg Hill Show on Wednesday morning, Kennedy said that despite not taking questions from the media in more than a year, the John Henry and Tom Werner-led ownership group is not planning on selling the Red Sox anytime soon. I can say with absolute certainty that John Henry is not selling the Boston Red Sox,” Kennedy said.
