The Baltimore Orioles starter tossed seven innings at Fenway Park, retiring the final 18 batters he faced — after a Kiké Hernández single in the first inning and Xander Bogaerts reached base on an error in the second — in a 3-0 Red Sox loss. He struck out five in the first Sox Opening Day shutout since 1976.
