December 2021 marks the expiration of their Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the last few weeks of contentious negotiations were just a preview of what’s to come. The two sides certainly seem to thoroughly despise one another, right down to petty public statements from MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and MLB Players Association executive director Tony Clark.
