Former Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Texas on Thursday, according to reports from TMZ and the Houston Chronicle. According to TMZ, records show Crawford has been hit with a charge of “assault fam/house mem impede breath/circulate” after allegedly choking an ex-girlfriend at gunpoint. The incident took place at the woman’s apartment on May 8 during an argument between Crawford and the woman.
