Former Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly received from good news from Major League Baseball on Wednesday afternoon. The league reduced Kelly’s suspension for a July 28 incident against the Astros from eight games to five games, as first reported by Jared Carrabis of Barstool Sports. On July 29, MLB suspended Kelly after he threw at Houston third baseman Alex Bregman and taunted shortstop Carlos Correa during the Dodgers-Astros game a night earlier.
