Thursday night’s game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests among the Yankees, the club confirmed Thursday afternoon. The Athletic and ESPN were first to report the news Thursday. Boston and New York were scheduled to begin a four-game series at Yankee Stadium Thursday in Major League Baseball’s first game since the 2021 All-Star Break.
