After five up-and-down years in the Phillies’ organization, Nick Pivetta is excited for a change of scenery with the Red Sox. Pivetta, who was traded to the Red Sox as the main piece in the deal that sent relievers Brandon Workman and Heath Hembree to the Phillies, had fallen out of favor in Philadelphia, failing to make the starting rotation at the end of summer camp and eventually being demoted to Triple-A in mid-August.
